My relationship with books began in my youth with my love for reading. For years, I rarely left home without a book. Reading for me was like breathing. 

During the Covid-19 pandemic, amid life changes, I returned to school to pursue a degree in English and discovered my niche—writing. Encouraged by my professor, I decided to publish my work.

Butterflies, my debut novel, was released in October 2022. It is the coming-of-age story of three African American best friends in 1960s Harlem, blossoming into womanhood and navigating the racial and political unrest sweeping the nation. Butterflies is a heartwarming story of love, family, friendship, and resilience.

My second novel, Cult’s Prey, released in February 2023, centers around three friends unwittingly ensnared by a religious cult. The trio fights back with courage, strength, and humor, giving credence to the adage that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. The novel introduces you to many characters who may seem oddly familiar.

I am a brutally honest writer, pulling no punches. My stories focus on real-life issues facing everyday people. I love tugging at heartstrings and creating fires, knowing that from scorched earth, flowers bloom lush.
